But unlike Macbeth’s scary witches, we’re brewed by a – may we say – gorgeous and brilliant Cape Town-based Clinical Nutritional Therapist. Joining her at Aceso’s helm, her doting fiancé, Dan, takes care of all our business stuff.
And unlike the Shakespearean tragedy, our story of conquest excludes murder, mayhem, and madness. Like, no toil and certainly no trouble.
Possessive over their free time, Dan and Lauren prioritize work-life balance, always honouring the line between family and business.
About Lauren
"I suffered from disordered eating and chronic candidiasis for several years, resulting in numerous painful bladder infections including constant thrush. My microbiome was completely messed up from past dieting and I struggled to digest the simplest foods. I was extremely frustrated at the medical field’s lack of care; most professionals I consulted doubted me and were very quick to prescribe medicines. Nothing worked. "Aceso Fire Cider is brewed and produced with the consumer in mind, what’s most beneficial for them – without trying to scale and cut corners. It’s born out of a human story, my wife's story. It's the story of someone who suffered from a chronic gut illness yet nothing on the market could cure it.
Ultimately, Aceso is built on the lived experience of what works.
As a dad, a husband and businessman, I believe that conscious brand owners like myself have a responsibility to make transparent and affordable wellness products available to all consumers. I couldn’t think of a better legacy to leave this planet than Aceso Fire Cider."
